Same as Fig. C.1 but for the the fundamental r-mode, topologically induced by the existence of the a pressure gap. The mode exhibits strong horizontal motions around r_min (note the scale colour bars), where the amplitude peaks. The mode extends outwards of the gap, and has non-zero amplitude at r_max, where grains may eventually pile-up. The mode mixes with acoustic vibrations outside of r_min.
