Examples of SED fitting to J-PLUS 12-band photometry using CIGALE. Panel (a): Q galaxy. Panel (b): SF galaxy. In each panel, the observed fluxes are shown as purple circles with error bars, and the best-fit model spectrum is plotted as a solid black line. The red dots indicate the model-predicted fluxes in each filter. The contributions from the attenuated stellar population (orange line), unattenuated stellar emission (dashed blue line), and nebular emission (green line) are also shown, although difficult to see in the left panel due to their resemblance to the model spectrum. Bottom subpanels: Relative residuals, defined as (Obs − Mod)/Obs, with a horizontal dashed line at zero for reference. A gri composite image from J-PLUS is inset in the bottom right corner of each panel.
