the fits in this direction have a considerably higher standard deviation, which is caused by the existence of the jet on October 27;

a radius ρ equal to 50″ (i.e. ~4700 and ~4800 km on October 27 and 29, 2010 respectively) has been used to compute the slope of the linear fit.
