Variations on the inference of VFTS 243 due to different observations and priors. We compare the 1D posteriors of the mass loss Δm₂ and natal kick v_k, for VFTS 243. We include only models which do not require a resolved orbit (see Sect. 3.1). Models S, SV_R, SV_T, and SV₃ (solid lines) use the circular orbit prior, π(e _i)=δ(e _i). We additionally include the best-case observing model SV₃ with the full eccentricity prior, π(e _i)=U(0, 1) (black, dotted), identified as (SV₃).
