Comparison of best-fit spectra for retrievals of the joint HST-JWST spectrum using different cloud models. The fits include all tested absorbing species except for SO2 and H2S (see Table 6). The red spectrum is cloud-free, the blue spectrum is cloudy, and the orange spectrum is the best fit for patchy clouds. The dashed spectra are the best fits using the more complex cloud model described in Sect. 4.3. We also fit for an offset between the HST and JWST data, which is visible by eye in the figure (for details, see Tables A.2 and A.3).
