Cloud model	Description
No clouds	Clear atmosphere without any Cloud opacity
Clouds	Fully opaque atmosphere at pressures P > P_cloud
Patchy clouds	Similar to clouds but only covering a fraction of the atmosphere (Line & Parmentier 2016)
Complex clouds	Cloud deck with opacity given by Eq. (2) and cloud base at pressure P_base
Complex patchy clouds	Similar to Complex clouds but only covering a fraction of the atmosphere

Notes. The input priors for the different parameters are listed in Tables 2, 5, and 7.
