An error occurred when correcting the systemic proper motion of the Sculptor dwarf spheroidal galaxy using the quasars’ zero point. The values reported in Table 1 should be μα,* = 0.1 mas yr−1 and μδ = −0.147 mas yr−1 for the proper motion in the right ascension and declination directions, respectively. This correction implies a shift in the line-of-sight velocities of at most 0.1 kms−1 for the stars in the outskirts of the galaxy, which is typically more than five times smaller than the velocity uncertainties. Therefore, the impact of these corrected values on the posterior probability distributions and the results of the paper is minimal. The differences in the median values are mostly negligible given the decimal precision used to report the results and always lower than three times the 1σ uncertainties. Consequently, all values provided in the paper after the fitting remain valid.
