High-resolution MeerKAT 20-cm radio continuum of the galaxies overlaid onto DSS R-band optical images. First row: ESO 138-1, ESO 138-4, and ESO 138-5 (background galaxies, NGC 6221 group), the contour levels are 0.03, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 3 and 8 mJy beam−1. Second row: NGC 2434, ESO 59-G0012, and NGC 2397 (NGC 2442 group), the contour levels are 0.027, 0.09, and 0.27 mJy beam−1. From the third to the fifth rows: ESO263-33, NGC 3256C, NGC 3256A, LEDA 087403, ESO 263-44, ESO 263-46, ESO 263-45 (background galaxy), NGC 3256B and NGC 3261 (NGC 3256/3263 group). The contour levels are 0.027, 0.045, 0.18, 0.45, 0.9, 2.7, and 7.2 mJy beam−1. Contours are shown in black or white for display purposes. The synthesised beam is displayed at the bottom-left corner of each panel.
