For DoAr 44, the joint posterior and marginalised probability distributions for the homogeneous ellipse model, based on VLTI/GRAVITY measurements, are presented. These parameters are α and β, describing the ellipse’s semi-major and semi-minor axes in milliarcseconds, ω describing the position angle of the ellipse, and fs, fc, fh giving the fractional contributions of the star, circumstellar matter and a diffuse, always resolved halo. Although some parameters exhibit strong correlations, this does not affect the usefulness of the calculations. The size of the ellipse (at 146 pc) is 0.2 × 0.24 au, and the contribution of the always-resolved halo is approximately 7%. The parameter uncertainties appear underestimated, likely due to the simplicity of the model.
