Non-merger and merger candidates from the various surveys considered in this study, separated into Silver and Gold samples. Each row shows two representative sources for each category: non-merging systems; Silver sample mergers (selected based on the f(G, M20) criterion, Eq. (1)); and Gold sample mergers (satisfying both f(G, M20) and A criteria, Eqs. (1) and (2)). The cutouts, in the F115W filter, show the rest-frame UV at the redshift of each galaxy. The source ID, redshift, asymmetry (A), and Gini-M20 (f(G, M20)) values are provided for each stamp.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
