Electron density profiles for clusters with confident (>2σ) X-ray luminosity measurements, split by class. The median of these profiles and the 16th and 84th percentiles are denoted by the solid line and the shaded regions. We also include the median profile of the B24 extent-selected sample to highlight the differences in both populations. The profiles of Class 2 and 3 clusters are cuspier, and Class 4 and 5 appear flatter and more extended; we note that we do detect extended emission, especially for the latter two classes.
