Rate of TDEs as a function of survey limiting magnitude. The chosen temperature has the largest impact on the unlensed TDE rate. This parameter accounts for most of the scatter observed between the different models. This implies that it is crucial that the BB peak and the observing band are well aligned. We have taken a representative subset from the left panel of Fig. 5 to clearly show the influence of the temperature.
