A broad Hβ line is not detected; the dashed black line represents the profile corresponding to the upper limit on the amplitude of a broad Gaussian centered near Hβ. This upper limit is comparable to the noise seen in the spectrum, thus barring us from claiming any detection of broad Hβ emission.
