Evolution of the ratio between star formation rate and halo mass accretion rate as a function of redshift, in the semi-empirical model UNIVERSEMACHINE. In halo mass bins of width 0.25 dex, the ratio is computed as the halo accretion rate from the analytical formula in Behroozi et al. (2013) formula over the median SFR of galaxies hosted by halos in the mass bin. A transition in the ratio behavior is observed at a mean redshift z change ¯ = 3.8 $ \overline{z_\mathrm{{change}}} = 3.8 $ across all halo masses.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
