Average HCN/CO line ratio as function of Σmol when excluding pixels inside the central r = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1 kpc in radius. The ratio is binned as described in Sect. 3.2 and we use the same values of Σmol, that we use in the main text.
