Pulse profiles from the XMM-Newton observations obtained during the quiescent (top) and accreting (bottom) states of 4U 0115+63, folded using background-subtracted light curves with 0.1 s binning in the 0.3−10 keV energy range and using spin periods estimated via epoch-folding. The profiles were normalized by their average count rates. Phases were aligned using the cross-correlation method.
