Example of objects classified as galaxies in the GAMA database but classified as stars by TOPz, with pstar ≈ 1. Pink segments mark the misclassified objects. Purple segments indicate galaxies and blue segments indicate stars (according to the GAMA classification). In certain cases, the GAMA catalogue assigns galaxy classifications to sources that are evidently stars or image artefacts: (A) a compact red galaxy classified as an M-type star in TOPz; (B) a bright blue star; (C) a luminous spiral galaxy; (D) two blended sources treated as a single object; (E) a small, faint object near several larger, brighter sources; (F) a satellite trail.
