Variations in the AGN fraction (in %) with local overdensity (σδ) for all different types of AGN combined at 2 < z < 4 in an 80% stellar-mass (M* > 109.14 M) complete in our redshift range (open triangle points). The stellar mass distribution of galaxies remains roughly the same across different environment bins. The median log M*/M values for the three environment bins (left to right in the figure) are: 9.60, 9.77, and 9.66, respectively. The circle points and σδ bins are same as in Figure 6. The figure shows a clear trend of increasing AGN fraction with increasing local overdensities of galaxies.
