Comparison in different halo mass bins between the PHOX IGrM input profiles convolved with the eROSITA PSF and the observed stacked profiles of Zhang et al. (2024, magenta-shaded region). The latter profiles were obtained by following the stacking procedure outlined in Zhang et al. (2024) and with the real Tinker (2021) optically selected group catalog in the SDSS area. The shaded regions indicate the 1σ uncertainty.
