Distribution of giant planet minimum masses as a function of orbital period discovered orbiting low-luminosity giant stars from the overlapping sample in EXPRESS and PPPS projects. As before, the filled green diamonds represent the newly discovered planets in this work, the red circles highlight the additional confirmed planets, and the purple filled stars are all other planets from these projects not included here. For reference, the 10 m s−1 and 20 m s−1 RV sensitivity limits for a 1 M⊙ star are shown by the dashed and dot-dashed curves, respectively, and the 20 m s−1 limit for a 2 M⊙ star is shown by the solid curve. The ringed detections are those of HIP 24275b & d, HIP 75092c, and HIP 90988b, highlighted for the reasons discussed in the text.
