Predicted fraction of OBe stars in our fiducial synthetic SMC population as a function of apparent G_bp magnitude (blue). The OB stars in pre-interaction binaries are included. The observed OBe star fraction is plotted with red (Schootemeijer et al. 2022). On the top we show the averaged evolutionary mass in each bin (Schootemeijer et al. 2022).
