Amount of mass accreted over time by an initial 10⁴ M_⊙ MBH sink particle for different values of r_acc, with two simulations run when r_acc is equal to 10 and 1 pc, respectively (to check how volatile the growth of the MBH sink particle is to stochastic processes). A simulation of Bondi accretion is also conducted, where r_acc = max(1 pc,  r_Bondi). Dashed black lines indicate the percentage growth of the MBH (with respect to its initial mass).
