Total 12C yields as a function of metallicity, weighted by the IMF and orbital period distribution. We compare the carbon yields from single stars (blue bars) against those from binary-stripped stars (orange bars), and provide the ratios between them on top of the curved arrows. For each bar, we give the fractions of the total carbon yields contributed by supernova (SN) explosions (light colors) and wind mass loss (dark colors).
