Eddington-scaled blackbody luminosity of thermal TDEs, BFs, and the extreme coronal line emitter AT2022fpx as a function of photospheric radius normalised by gravitational radius. Both were evaluated at the time of the maximum polarisation (Pmax) of each event. The marker colour indicates the maximum polarisation degree measured for each event.
