Stochastic star formation histories (SFR_smooth × SFR_stochastic) for different combinations of parameters generated with the STOCHASTICSFH module. Each panel shows the impact on the SFH of one specific parameter: σ (left panel), τ_break (middle panel), and α (right panel), in all cases the age and τ_main are fix to 500 and 1000 Myr, respectively.
