Comparison of VCF for the various cosmological hydrodynamical simulations highlighting the importance of larger simulation box size. It can be seen that the VCF is significantly underestimated at zero separation (velocity dispersion), galaxy scale (r ≈ 1 h−1 Mpc) and cluster scale (r ≈ 10 h−1 Mpc) when the simulation size is less than 1cGpc
