Example of spectral synthesis for C I line at 6587 in DQ Hya for both HERMES and UVES spectra. There is a remarkable agreement between the two estimates. We note that NLTE departures are negligible for this line, especially at the parameter range of our sample stars (Alexeeva & Mashonkina 2015).
