Quasi-simultaneous spectral index map of OJ 287 between 86 GHz and 230 GHz. The 86 GHz data are from GMVA + ALMA observations taken on April 2, 2017 (Zhao et al. 2022). Both frequency maps were convolved with a 40 μas circular beam, as indicated in the bottom-left corner of the plot, corresponding to the resolution of the GMVA + ALMA observations.
