Mean recovery fraction as a function of extinction (AV) for both the default and tuned configurations. The recovery efficiency decreases systematically with increasing AV, reflecting the reduced detectability of clusters toward the bulge and disk, where spatial extinction is problematic and can blend the clusters’ overdensity.
