Model atmospheres with Teff =4500 K, log g=1.5, [M/H]=+0.0 dex, and different [α/Fe]values. The panels show the behaviour of the temperature, logarithm of the gas pressure, and fractions of free electrons provided by Mg and Fe. The model with [α/Fe]=−0.4 dex, which shows a different behaviour with respect to the other models, is plotted with a thicker curve.
