Sensitivity of seismic parameters in the asymptotic relation (Eq. 1) to the input physics of MESA models. The relative difference in seismic parameters given by Eq. B.1 between the reference and modified models is shown for 0.5 μHz-bins for Δν in the range [0.1, 4.0] μHz (except for the first Δν bin, which is [0.1, 0.5] μHz). The reference model is defined with 1 M_⊙ and solar metallicity, and the input physics are those indicated in Table 1. The settings of the modified models are similar to those of the reference models, except for one parameter that is changed as indicated by the labels. The left and right columns correspond to the RGB and clump stage plus AGB, respectively. In panel d), some lines are shorter than the full range because the code failed to output the frequencies of ℓ = 1 modes when setting $N_{\mathrm{BV}}^2=0$ in the core of clump models (Δν ≳ 3 μHz).
