[O III]λ5008 luminosities as a function of stellar mass for the SPHINX20 (Katz et al. 2023) and FLARES simulation (Lovell et al. 2020; Vijayan et al. 2020), the JAGUAR catalogue (Williams et al. 2018). We plot both, the intrinsic relation and the relation after mimicking our selection cut. We also show the L[O III]λ5008−log(M★/M⊙) relation for our stacked Hγ (purple stars) and Hβ (orange stars) sample.
