Mass-metallicity relation inferred for our Hγ sample using the direct-Te method (purple stars), Chakraborty et al. (2025) R3-calibration (blue stars), Sanders et al. (2024) R3-calibration (magenta stars), and the Nakajima et al. (2022) R3-calibration for local galaxies with EW(Hβ) > 200 Å (green stars). We used metallicity estimates from the lower branch of the R3-calibrations. The use of strong-line methods leads to an artificial flattening of the observed relation.
