The synthetic data included a large-scale jet component. Upper panels show the cross-correlation in total intensity, lower panels in polarization. Despite the synthetic data containing a large scale jet component, the black hole shadow has been recovered for all methods and all years with exceptional accuracy, achieving cross-correlations > 0.995 in total intensity in 2021.
