Metallicity map in galactocentric xGC and zGC coordinates of JP×Gr16.55kpc (r ≤ 4.2 mag) sample. The metallicity values were derived as described in Sect. 4.4, using Grid E (solar+α-enhanced isochrones) from Table 3. The colour bar indicates the mean of [M/H] for stars within 0.2 × 0.2 kpc2 pixels. The pixels with fewer than ten stars were rejected.
