Histogram of ΔPAopt − kin, the angles between optical and kinematic PAs derived from our sample of 5000 synthetic DESI-LS r-band and MaNGA velocity fields. 72.8% and 82.4% of the sample have optical-kinematic misalignment lower than 10° and 20°, respectively. Optical PAs are estimated at two effective radii.
