Trajectory of the torus angular momentum vector in the x-y plane for an accretion torque rotating with frequency ω1 = 0.9ωp (left panel) and ω1 = 0.65ωp (right panel). In both cases, we use L(0) = 7i, τA = 1, and ωp = 1. The phase of the trajectory is represented by both the color and the decreasing thickness of the curve, with the starting point at t = 0, and a point later in time t marked by a circle and a triangle, respectively (for visualization purposes). The torus precesses around the black hole axis with a frequency of (ωp + ω1)/2. Additionally, the tilt angle between the black hole and torus oscillates with frequency (ωp − ω1).
