Be stars (V<18 mag) from the list of Sabogal et al. (2005) are marked as faint grey dots. For comparison, the same is plotted for the SMC (right, source numbers from Haberl & Sturm 2016 and Be stars from Mennickent et al. 2002). The larger spread in the LMC compared to the SMC is evident in all systems.
