Same as Fig. E.1, but for retrograde orbits, relative to the black hole. We see that the apocenter experiences both an in-plane and out-of-plane precession due to the LT effect. The in-plane precession is clockwise as seen on the face-on projection of Fig. 5a, and the out-of-plane precession is mainly for the major axis, but also acts on the minor axis. We also see that the quadrupole moment appears to have the same behavior as the LT effect for the both types of precession.
