Template fit to UV Fe II. We fit templates to the UV pseudo-continuum emission. The fitting is challenging due to the limited PRISM resolution in this wavelength range (R ∼ 50). The model includes the Mg II and Fe II lines, which are usually strong. The template fitting does not produce a satisfactory result (χ_ν² = 7.5), in particular for the ∼2500 Å bump. Absorption features from the resonant Fe II multiplets UV1 and UV2+UV3 are compatible with the observed shape of the continuum, which are also predicted by our Cloudy models (see Sect. 6.1 for a discussion).
