Comparison between data and model cube for one of our sample galaxies (A2744-DF-013) whose Mg II emission halo exhibits characteristics that are inconsistent with our purely outflow emission model. By including an additional inflow-absorbing contribution to the model, we are able to reproduce the data more closely. The parameterization of the inflow component is detailed in the main text (see Sec C.2). The set of panels on the left side of the figure shows the data and best-fitting model comparison for A2744-DF-013, using our fiducial outflow-only model described in Appendix E.1. The right set of panels shows the same for our outflow+inflow model. The layout of each set of panels is the same as in Fig. C.3, comparing the continuum-subtracted Mg II pseudo-narrowband images and the spectra extracted from annular apertures from the data and best-fitting model cube.
