Notes. The table shows the modeling results for different climate state characteristics: maximum wind speed, equatorial jet width, day-night gas temperature difference, evening-morning gas temperature difference, and the maximum (or hotspot) gas temperature, Tgas, max, and its geographic location. (a)The jet width was calculated with the full width at half maximum for the total atmosphere and is given in degrees of latitude. (b)Difference between the day (Tday) and nightside (Tnight) averaged temperatures. Their relative difference was calculated by (Tgas,dayTgas,night)/Tgas,day. (c)The difference between the evening (Tgas, evening) and morning terminator (Tgas, morning) averaged temperatures. Their relative difference was calculated by (Tgas,eveningTgas,morning)/Tgas,evening.
