Notes. This table summarises for each of the quasar fields, the main physical properties of the atomic gas probed in absorption (redshift, column density, neutral gas metallicity) and the galaxies associated with the strong H I quasar absorbers (redshift, distance from quasar sightline, star formation rate, stellar mass and ionised gas metallicity). The former absorption properties are estimated from HST and VLT/Keck spectroscopy of the background quasar while the latter are derived from VLT/MUSE and HST imaging emission observations combined.
