Table 1.

TRGB calibrations derived here.

Passband M0TRGB (mag) NGCs N[ − 4, −3]*
IStetson 3 . 948 0.034 + 0.037 Mathematical equation: $ -3.948^{+0.037}_{-0.034} $ 48 1086
IGDR3T 3 . 949 0.038 + 0.043 Mathematical equation: $ -3.949^{+0.043}_{-0.038} $ 53 680
RP 3 . 807 0.035 + 0.041 Mathematical equation: $ -3.807^{+0.041}_{-0.035} $ 53 604

Notes. IStetson denotes the calibration based on ground-based photometry from the Stetson database. IGDR3T refers to the Cousins I-band calibration obtained from photometric transformations of multi-band Gaia data, and RP to native GDR3 photometry. M 0 TRGB Mathematical equation: $ M^{\mathrm{TRGB}}_{0} $ lists the median and the 16th and 84th percentiles of the bootstrap distributions, all of which include the uncertainties discussed in Table E.1. The final columns report the number of NGCs and stars in the absolute magnitude range M0 ∈ [ − 4, −3] that passed all quality cuts (see Appendix C).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
