Polarisation spectrum of thermal dust polarisation towards a starless core for different values of the line-of-sight visual extinction (AVloss$A^{\rm loss}_{\rm V}$), shown for amax = 0.25 μm (left panel) and amax = 0.5 μm (right panel). The spectrum first increases rapidly and then increases gradually towards longer wavelengths. Higher amax yields a higher degree of polarisation under the same physical condition (characterised by AV).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
