Representation of the different impacts of the configurations considered on stray light rejection. First, the telescope’s geometrical configuration, defined by the spacing between the shells and the region of reflections, obscures 65% to 85% of the photons depending on the shell. The addition of reflectivity and the baffle increases the rejection power of the system, consistent with instrumental testing.
