Positions of the selected ROIs on a global map in cylindrical projection (Stooke 2015). ROI #1 was taken on the equatorial ridge, ROI #3 on the bright region in the south of Deimos, ROI #2 and ROI #4 on dark regions respectively at the north of the ridge and at the north of ROI #3. ROI #5 was defined to include the two craters Voltaire and Swift.
