The parameters are sampled on grid with fixed step sizes. We slightly dithered the positions of the points to make them visible. The solid red, black, and dashed purple contours are the 1σ confidence levels determined by $\Delta {\chi }_{\text{tot}}^2,\Delta {\chi }_{\text{vdis}}^2$ and $\Delta {\chi }_{\text{den}}^2$, respectively. The black horizontal and vertical dashed lines indicate the ground truth. The three parameters determining the radial distribution, p₀, r_s, γ, are degenerated. The shapes of the DM halo, q_DM and p_DM, are well constrained and consistent with the ground truth.
