Star-forming and quiescent BGGs (SFGs and QGs) are plotted in blue and red, respectively. Skew-normal fits (dashed lines) are overlaid for each distribution, with fitted parameters (a, μ, σ) annotated. QGs exhibit compact, narrow distributions at low redshift, while SFGs show broader and more skewed profiles, especially at high z. The absence of QGs at z > 2 in low-mass bins reflects the delayed quenching of less massive BGGs.
