Depiction of the time-integrated phase space histogram of the simulation. As a particle spends a time step, dt, traveling between spatial histogram bins, the time spent in each bin, dt1 and dt2, is added to each respective bin. dt is set to be small enough for particles to not skip spatial bins when propagating through x.
